Emergency Preparedness
Last Update:  11 May 2009

BE PREPARED!  The Planning Commission for the Town of Hunts Point has been busy preparing an emergency-response plan to assist residents in the event of an emergency or disaster.  HOWEVER, everyone in the Puget Sound area should be prepared to survive without outside assistance for a minimum of 3 days.  Residents are strongly urged to prepare personal Disaster Supplies Kits for home, auto, boat, office, etc.  Click here for suggestions regarding the contents of your Disaster Supplies Kit.  Additional information about planning and preparing for an emergency can be found on the King County website and the American Red Cross website.  The American Red Cross also has prepackaged disaster kits, first aid kits, books, and supplies available for purchase through the online store.
